Sound familiar?

Reconstructing billable timeEnd of day, six client matters deep. You need accurate time entries. You've been context-switching since 8 AM. What did you work on at 10:30? Which client was the research for?
Cloud tools and privilegeMost productivity software routes your data through third-party servers. For privileged communications and client work product, that's not a convenience tradeoff. It's a liability.
Document review at volumeThree hours into a stack of lease agreements. The indemnification clause in the second agreement had unusual language. You noticed, but didn't note the page. Finding it again means re-reading 60 pages.

Deposition preparationThe video deposition was transcribed automatically. Search for specific testimony, cross-reference with your notes, prepare follow-up questions from a searchable record.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly is client data stored?
On your Mac's local filesystem in an AES-256 encrypted database. No data transmitted to any server at any time. Cloud transcription is optional, disabled by default, and uses only your own API keys when enabled. Your data never touches our infrastructure.
Can I dictate directly into my document management system?
Kapsicum dictation works in any app with a text cursor: iManage, NetDocuments, Worldox, Word, Outlook, any browser-based DMS. Text appears at your cursor as you speak.
How does Kapsicum handle password fields and secure inputs?
Detected and skipped automatically. You can also exclude specific apps entirely, useful when firm policies restrict capture to approved applications.
Can Kapsicum help reconstruct billable time?
Timeline view shows all captured text organized by time and app. Filter by date to see what you typed, when, and in which application. Time entries from a factual record. Not memory.
